Pind Mera in Punjabi means My Village. This site serves as a database of information regarding the villages of Punjab. It is a collaborative effort, if an article for your Pind does not exist you have the ability to add it or further contribute information or pictures to existing articles. So if your Pind is not listed feel obliged to share it with the world! We felt that a collaborative environment would resolve issues of incorrect, outdated, or simply nonexistent information.

Punjab is a state of India which is subdivided in 17 districts. Each district is further subdivided in Tehsils (zone). Each Tehsil contains many villages.

Rules/Conventions

Before adding new articles make sure one doesn't already exist. The naming convention for a new article is "Pind name, (District)". To an extent this helps differentiate between Pinds with the same name.

Please do not abuse the ability to add or modify articles, misuse of this privilege will result in an IP ban. Everyone's cooperation will help make this site a rich source of information where visitors can gain from, the world over. Other than these points have fun!
