Khaira Majha is a village in Jalandhar, Punjab, India. It is situated midway between the two cities of Kapurthala and Jalandhar (on the Jalandhar Science City road). It has a population of approximately 3000 residents and was founded in the 1700's.

Khaira refers to the surname of most of the residents and the word Majja (also spelt Majha) is derived from the fact that the four brothers who set up the village came from that region of the Punjab (Punjab is divided into three areas: Majha, Doaba and Malwa). A significant number of residents from this village have migrated to Europe (mainly the UK) and North America. The majority of the residents are Jatt farmers.

The village has 2 Gurdwara Sahibs, a senior secondary school named Khalsa Goverment School. Driving from Jalandhar to get to Khaira Majha you take a right turn from Aadhi Khuii, near Khojewal village. Every year a large tournament is also held, kabaddi matches are the main attraction.

Side Note: Baba Deep Singh was a Khaira. He is also revered as a highly religious person in Sikhism, and remembered for his sacrifice and devotion to teachings of Sikh Gurus.
