From Pind Mera

Kokri vehniwal is a village about 18 km North East to East Punjab district Moga District, It is situated about 7 km from Ludhiana-Ferozepur Grand Trunk Road, near Ajitwal. The village is having a population around 3000 and dominated by Jatt Sikhs most of them from Cheema clan. This village is very much developed and the new developments taking place are setting up of 66KV power station for better power supply to residential as well as for irrigation purpose. A water tank is being built to provide pollution free water to the residents. Also reconstruction of the Gurudwara sahib is in progress.

Presently Balbir Singh Cheema is the Sarpanch of this village. His predecessors were Surinder Kaur, Baldev Singh Cheema.
